Those who wish to build housing themselves are promised significant state support

Those who decide to build housing on their own, on their own site, in the area of the recent earthquake, will be able to count on a serious "shoulder" from the state. This was told by the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Mehmet Ozhaseki. The new campaign was created specifically for residents of the affected regions who want to return to their native lands.

About 650,000 new residences are to be built on this territory and these are only approximate, so-called average figures. Do not forget about the jobs, as well as warehouses and barns that people need to farm and continue working; this is another 200,000.

I am glad that the construction of a very large number of residences and other buildings has already begun, and continues at a rapid pace. After the Eid al-Adha holiday, the work will intensify even more; by this time, those who want to build their house on the land they own will announce the exact amounts of subsidies from the authorities.

Earlier it was reported that the February earthquake with an epicenter in Kahramanmarash cost Turkey $105 billion. And people are afraid of future aftershocks that may happen on the territory of Istanbul province, and become no less strong. After all, there are more than 200,000 non-earthquake-resistant buildings in this metropolis alone.
