In Turkey, prices for apartments, villas and country houses are continuing steadily growing, enhanced by the new mortgage campaign. However, the president of the Istanbul Chamber of Realtors Nizamettin Asha predicts that this extraordinary demand for housing in Turkey will decrease in August. And those who have inflated prices today hoping of selling an apartment at a higher price thanks to the mortgage campaign will be forced to lower them:
“Millions of Turkish residents want to buy housing, but they will be able to do it only at affordable, reasonable prices and reduced interest rates. Now a big problem for such potential buyers has become those who began to sell apartments at a price much higher than their real value: seeing these prices, a person who is actually looking for an apartment to buy has to give up."
However, now, in July, we expect a new record in real estate sales in Turkey by the end of the month, the expert said. From June 1 to July 10, the number of mortgage transactions in the country exceeded the total amount of 35 billion lira, and this figure continues to grow every day.
