The cost per square metre of housing in Turkey exceeds tl 30,000

According to analysts, the price per square metre of residential real estate in Turkey has exceeded TL 30,000.

After December 2021, January 2024 was marked as "having the lowest rates and the slowest price growth" in the last 25 months. In addition, rising real estate prices, interest rates on bank housing loans and credit restrictions for potential borrowers have forced many of them to switch to alternative investment instruments such as precious metals, currency, etc. By the way, the largest housing stock for sale is located in the Marmara Sea region.

Nevertheless, the cost of housing continues to grow, although not at the same pace as before: the cost of a a living square metre in Turkey has reached TL 30,900. Thus, the average cost of a typical 100-metre property is TL 3.090 million. However, in terms of currency, residential real estate has been getting cheaper for several months, it is worth noting to potential buyers.
