The Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum recently made several new statements regarding what specific steps will be taken to reduce rental prices; it is planned to bring rental rates under control.
The official recalled that until July 1, 2023, there is a 25% limit on rent increases; this period will be extended for some time.
Also, the authorities will try to provide material support to citizens with low and below average incomes, especially those living in megacities, in order to reduce their housing costs. Recall that partial COMPENSATION for rental housing for civil servants was also announced.
Also, there is already a system of encouragement for those who decide to build their own house on an existing plot of land; including the construction of factory houses more budgetary than capital buildings falls under this program.
Well, among the newly opened opportunities, the following is mentioned: Murat Kurum stated that "... we will apply the rule of positive discrimination to citizens who purchase their first housing. If they are buying an apartment or a house for the first time, and not for investment, but to meet their own housing needs, then we will provide them with some opportunities. Such as exemption from taxes and VAT".
