Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum said that his department, together with the Ministry of Finance, has reached the final stage of discussing the terms of the program for providing preferential housing to middle-income citizens. That is, not only the poor.
The details of the action are promised to be announced in the very near future. Recall that for the first time this was discussed in the fall, with the launch of the project "My first home, my first workplace", aimed at those who in the current conditions cannot afford to buy their own housing at standard market prices.
At the moment, together with TOKI, preferential residences continue to be actively built, now work is underway on 750 construction sites at once.
According to the campaign "My first home, my first workplace", more than 8 million applications were submitted from potential applicants; and 5,135 million were eligible to participate in the auction (that is, the documents submitted by them met the requirements). The drawings of preferential housing have already been completed in a number of provinces; in particular, the happy owners of the first 50 thousand residences have been determined.
As for the benefits for the middle class, most likely they will be provided with housing loans on certain conditions. Also, the selection of potential partners from among construction companies who will be engaged in the construction of residential buildings for "middle-class" is gradually underway.
