There are coins of Bargylia dating back to the 2nd century BCE bearing Artemis Cindyas and Pegasus figures heads. Dorttepe village and the near village of Ucpinar also offer local shops and facilities. A shopping mall is only 5 mins drive away where brand name stores, supermarket, clothing outlets and cafes are situated. Bodrum International Airport is only a 10 min drive making this an ideal location for holiday rentals.
