After the coronavirus-related quarantine months in Turkey, duplex apartments have become particularly popular with property buyers. According to Emlak Kulisi, citing luxury real estate specialist Syuhran Aras (Istanbul), in June and July 2020, almost all two-level apartments - duplexes and penthouses were sold. Before the pandemic, the demand for such apartments was minimal - two-story apartments for a large family were sold much less often than single-level properties. Now we can see how the coronavirus epidemic has affected the preferences of property buyers in Turkey . In the central districts of cities, the demand for spacious housing with balconies has grown; families with children are increasingly choosing apartments with a garden (garden duplexes). Of course, new consumer preferences will also influence new residential projects. Most likely, apartment buildings in Turkey will now include more duplex apartments with huge terraces and private gardens.
