Comparethemarket.com, a well-known British online platform for price comparison, has published the TOP 10 countries with the most attractive housing prices, taking into account the purchasing power of its residents. Real estate in Turkey is in the first place in terms of affordability (the ratio of the cost per square meter and the income of an average family). According to the British experts, the ratio of the cost per square meter of housing to family income in Turkey is 4.2 percent. The second place went to the United States with a ratio of 5.5 percent. Russia, which previously topped this rating, moved up to third place with 5.9 percent. The rest of the rating looks as follows:

- 5th place - Mexico (7.3 percent);
- 6th - Lithuania (9.2 percent);
- 7th - Brazil (9.2 percent);
- 8th place - Latvia (9.7 percent);
- 9th place - Slovakia (9.8 percent);
- 10th place - Greece (10 percent).
