Development market players have sounded the alarm: a number of standards have not been updated for a long time and are very outdated. This does not correspond to the country's approach to urban transformation, sustainable development and safe construction.
In particular, if certain conditions are met, a contractor for the construction of small houses for 10-12 apartments can be a person with no construction knowledge, or a student. As a result, unpleasant situations arise, ranging from incompetence by ignorance to abuse of official position. This is also bad because knowledgeable and experienced engineers and architects are forced to obey incompetent people who opened their companies and appointed themselves bosses.
There are not enough experienced employees: the engineer is forced to travel between several buildings, trying to control the progress of work on each, which is impossible to do. This is despite the fact that the number of construction permits issued has decreased threefold.
Consequently, steps are being implemented to revise the guidelines and protocols, particularly regarding the hiring of experts for specific roles. It is important that they have competencies and decent work experience.
