The authorities plan to provide state support to those who, in the current conditions, decide to build prefabricated housing. Thus, factory houses of minimal size – with one or two bedrooms (1 +1 or 2+1) – can cost an extremely small amount.
Not to mention that in the sense of "resisting" tremors, such housing is even more advantageous than reinforced concrete buildings. Firstly, although factory houses, of course, are not more durable, most of them are single-storey - that is, safer by default. And secondly, since they are made of lighter materials, even in the event of a collapse, they cause much less damage to those accidentally trapped under the wreckage. And thirdly, the "stretching factor" (thanks to the materials used): such houses are more flexible, so to speak, compared to conventional houses made of reinforced concrete structures.
Well, state support for buyers of factory houses is gaining momentum: as part of the housing campaign that has begun: the next discussed plan has finally been approved, according to which the Ministry of Family and Social Services will provide citizens with financial assistance in the amount of 200 000 Turkish lira (TL) specifically for the construction of prefabricated houses - provided that the household meets certain requirements: falls into the category of the poor, etc.
However, this is already a very big help: for example, now you can find 2 +1 prefabricated houses for 312 900 TL. Thus, taking into account the subsidy of 200 000 TL to the buyer, the factory house will cost only 112 900 TL.
Two weeks ago, manufacturers of prefabricated houses in Turkey presented an updated price list with approximate prices.
Recall that at the end of 2022, a similar action was in effect, when up to 150 000 TL could be received as a subsidy, and if you add to this a discount from the manufacturer, the minimum factory house in terms of area was available for only 18 000 TL.
