Istanbul and Ankara will be connected by a high-speed route

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismayiloglu spoke about the Istanbul-Ankara high-speed train project, which will simplify the movement between the capital and the largest Turkish metropolis.

Recall that lines are also being laid connecting Ankara with other major cities, in addition to the already existing high-speed routes like Ankara-Konya.

So, the road to Izmir by the lightning train will take 3.5 hours, this line will be put into operation in a little over two years. Just a few days ago, the first passengers will try out the Ankara-Sivas high-speed line: if there are no unforeseen complications, it will happen on April 26, 2023.

When it will be possible to get to Istanbul by high-speed train, the journey from the central square of Ankara (Kyzyl) to the Kadikoy district of Istanbul will take only 80 minutes.

It has also recently become known that the Basaksehir-Kayashehir metro line will be launched before the May presidential elections. The number of investments has also been determined for another extremely necessary megacity "branch".
