Apartments and houses continue to rise in price in Turkey. According to the stats for the last six months (published by the Emlak Kulisi real state newspaper), the minimum increase in prices of real estate observed in Turkish cities and provinces was 20 percent, while the average increase in the cost of renting apartments in Turkey was 15 percent.
The highest average price per square meter of housing was recorded today in the province of Mugla - 6.5 thousand lira (about €700). Istanbul is the second (4.3 thousand lira or €465), in third - Izmir (3.9 thousand lira or €420), in fourth - Aydin (3.6 thousand lira or €390). The province of Antalya closes the top five price leaders with an average cost per square meter of 3.5 thousand liras (€390).
How much does it cost to rent an apartment in Turkey? The most expensive rent is observed in the province of Mugla: 23 lira per square meter. You can rent an apartment in Istanbul today for an average of 21 lira per square meter, in Izmir and Antalya - for 16 lira per square meter.
