President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has officially announced the opening of another city (i.e., state) hospital in Turkey, as part of a project to provide similar hospitals to a maximum of settlements.
Moreover, this hospital is now the largest in the country. A medical facility called Etlik has been opened in the capital of the republic; it will become the second city hospital in Ankara and the twentieth in Turkey.
As the President stressed, the past years and recent events, including the pandemic, have revealed bottlenecks or uncovered needs for medical care: «It has become obvious how fragile the comfort level is in the conditions of the coronavirus epidemic», the President stressed. So now the needs of the population for services of this kind have been adjusted, and the list of services will only expand in order to provide the highest level of service to all those in need.
In addition to hospitals, the number of student dormitories at universities is growing throughout Turkey. In the near future, there will be another hundred.
