The size of aidat in Turkey is growing rapidly

In parallel with the rapid growth of rent aidat (payment for the maintenance of residential premises) in Turkey is also rapidly increasing. In particular, the figures for Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir – the three largest cities in Turkey - have been announced.

For example. In Istanbul over the past year, aidat has "grown" by an average of 77%, and in some locations this figure has even reached 154%.

Over the past year, the aidat in Turkey's largest metropolis has increased by more than 100% in 9 districts at once. Thus, the highest payment was recorded in Besiktas: for an apartment of 100 sq.m, it is 2,600 Turkish lira per month (TL). In Shishli – 2000 TL, in Kadikey – 1800 TL, in Saryere and Atashehir – 1750 Tl each. The detected minimum in Istanbul is 500 TL.

If the apartment reaches an area of 200 sq.m, it can be 15 thousand TL; for 250 sq.m – 17000 TL and above.

The rent for 100-meter apartments in Shishli, as it became known, ranges from 9000-10000TL; in Saryere, Uskyudar and Beykoz - from 8000 to 12000 TL; in the Kadikey Bagdat area – 5000-6000 TL.

In Ankara, the capital of the republic, aydat for the same 100-meter residence will amount to 1250 TL in one of the central districts, Chankaya; in Gelbashi – 750 TL, in Yenimahalla – 550 TL, in Etymesgut – 480 TL.

Tariffs for aidat in branded housing in the same city range from 3000 to 4000 TL.

As for Izmir, the aidat in the most popular areas – for example, in Karshiyak – is now equal to 1150 TL; in Bayrakli and Bornov – 1000 TL each. In the elite resort of Cesme near Izmir, in summer estates, this amount ranges from 2500 to 5000 TL, depending on the luxury of the residence.

Disputes over the size of the aidat have not stopped for a long time. Also, not so long ago, the owners defended the right to pay a single aidat for combined apartments in order to save money.
