The construction of the large-scale TOKI Arnavutköy Baklalı project from the TOKI Mass Housing Construction Department has begun. Work began on June 22, 2023.
Here - namely, in the Arnavutkey district of Istanbul, the Baklaly quarter - more than six hundred residences will appear: 621. The infrastructure will also include 10 stores.
So, the project has finally been agreed, approved and launched - after all the inconsistencies associated with it: in particular, tenders for the selection of a performer have been postponed and canceled more than once. Partly for the reason that the Istanbul Canal project is extremely difficult to implement, and there are difficulties with zoning territories around it.
There were even rumors that the construction of this new transport artery itself could be canceled; however, they turned out to be unfounded.
So now the Istanbul Canal is "overgrown" with new housing projects on both sides of the future artificial strait, and the land itself is understandably rapidly becoming more expensive here due to its advantageous location and potentially very beautiful views from the windows of future residences - apartments and villas.
