For some residents of Turkey, there were opportunities to build prefabricated (so-called «factory») houses, partially sponsored by the state. Which means that you can become the owner of your own home with minimal costs by making monthly payments.
So, those who own land, real estate market analysts advise to take a closer look at this possibility: to build a ready-made factory house on their site will probably be noticeably cheaper than even renting a minimal apartment. Moreover, high-quality factory-built houses are earthquake-resistant, durable, and can last for decades - which means they differ little from standard reinforced concrete housing. At a much lower cost.
As for state support, the Ministry of Family and Social Services reported that it is considering the possibility of providing financial support in the amount of 200,000 Turkish lira (TL) to households – families wishing to build a prefabricated house. However, not everyone: it is necessary to meet certain conditions – to have a land plot, the documents for which are in perfect order, not to have their own housing or to live in emergency housing, etc.
Anyway, this is another chance to quickly get a long-awaited roof over your head. Moreover, manufacturers of factory houses periodically announce discounts on their products. So, says the portal Emlak365, now a tiny one-storey prefabricated house with an area of 53 sq. m. In fact, an apartment 1 + 1, only detached - can be built for only 232,500 TL. So, if you also get a subsidy of 200,000 TL, then your own housing will cost only 32,500 TL.
If you buy such a house without the help of the state, taking a loan from a bank, then you can get housing of this size and format even without a down payment – one of the banks now offers such a program: a 0% entry fee and installments for 36 months, with a monthly payment of 1,285 TL.
Housing actions concerning factory houses are becoming more frequent in Turkey. For example, last fall it was possible to purchase such factory-assembled housing for only 18,000 TL. Before the New Year, the media also wrote about the sale of similar products.
