How has the concept of a safe and comfortable home changed in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic? Five criteria for a healthy home were listed by Kayhan Cavusoglu, commercial director of investment and construction company DAP Yap.
- Residential buildings in Turkey must be equipped with an elevator, however, the number of storeys must be such that residents can easily walk to their apartment on foot.
- Each apartment should have a terrace with access to the garden, or at least a room-sized balcony.
- Houses should be located next to or right in a green area.
- Apartments should have plenty of fresh air, projects should take into account free air circulation.
