After the announcement by TÜIK of residential real estate sales data for April 2023, Bursa was again in fifth place in terms of transactions - as, indeed, it is almost every month. Recall that Istanbul has the first place, Ankara has the second, Izmir has the third, Antalya has the fourth. Bursa accounted for 3.5% of transactions from the total volume in the country.
In the fourth largest metropolis of Turkey, 3015 residential real estate units were sold in April of this year. Of these, 957 - with the involvement of mortgage loans, 2058 - without housing loans. 1,031 purchased residence belongs to the segment of new buildings, 1984 - to the secondary real estate.
After the February events, the Bursa authorities are also paying more attention to the condition of buildings; after all, 0.2 million residences were recognized as risky according to the results of recent inspections. So, the urban transformation program, which implies the strengthening of housing and the resettlement of citizens from emergency homes to new ones, will largely affect this metropolis.
