Wealthy Russians choose the Turkish resort of Bodrum as a good alternative to Europe. It has been reported by the Yeni Asir newspaper. So Russian oligarch Andrei Skoch has been using Bodrum as a seaside holiday spot throughout the autumn 2020. On his own hundred-meter yacht worth 150 million dollars, the millionaire has already visited all the bays surrounding the fashionable Turkish resort. In recent months, the interest of wealthy foreigners (including Russians) in Bodrum has grown significantly: foreigners are buying and actively renting real estate in Bodrum. Following the growing demand, rental and sale prices for villas and apartments in Bodrum have skyrocketed. In the first eight months of 2020, secondary housing prices in Bodrum have risen by twenty percent, and for new homes - by forty percent. Market experts predict further growth as both Turkish residents and many foreigners choose Bodrum as a great destination for their investments and as a safe spot during the second wave of the coronavirus.
