About Calis

Calis is situated to the north-west of Fethiye town centre and just 45 km from Dalaman Airport. A very popular town for both full-time residents and visitors. Fethiye has a very cosmopolitan population and this is reflected in the range of foods available as well as cultural activities. Popular with both Turks and foreign nationals, the community enjoys free access to a long beach and is famous for its sunsets, wind-surfing and kite-boarding.

Average temperatures in July and August are around 32C while winter temperatures rarely drop below 10C.

The community has its own Sunday market, doctors’ surgeries, bakers, chemists, supermarkets, numerous shops and a popular seaside promenade lined with bars and restaurants.
