Home sales in Turkey to foreigners amounted to 2,741 objects in July 2020 - 34.6 percent less than in July last year. These figures are given by Emlak Kulisi, the construction and real estate newspaper in Turkey. The largest number of foreign buyers in July are nationals of Iran.

What cities and provinces were the most popular?

Istanbul became the leader in July sales (1,046 objects), Antalya took second place (615 objects), third place - Ankara (230 objects), fourth - Mersin (101 objects), fifth - Yalova (88 objects). The TOP-10 most popular cities among foreign buyers of real estate in Turkey also included: Bursa (75 objects), Izmir (75 objects), Samsun (68 objects) and Aydin (57 objects).

Residents of which countries bought houses and apartments in Turkey in July 2020?

The Iranians ranked the first (540 objects); the next were the Iraqis (388 objects); the third - Russians (154 objects); the fourth - Afghans (149 objects). The TOP-20 foreign buyers of real estate in Turkey also included residents of the following countries:

Experts of the Turkish real estate market predict that in the coming months, home sales to foreigners will grow at least fourfold.
