Summer starts from day to day; and by this moment, an international jury evaluating beaches around the world has announced a list of beaches that have received Blue Flag awards in 2023. In Turkey, 551 beaches received this honorary "title", confirming the purity of water, sand and, in general, the special quality of the territory. In addition to them, the "Blue Flag" was assigned to 23 berths.
This time Turkey is in third place in TOP-5 leading countries in terms of the number of "Blue Flags". Spain took the first place; Greece took the second. The fourth and fifth went to Italy and France.
As for the provinces, Antalya is the leader in the country in terms of "Blue Flags", of course: this is 231 beaches and 5 berths.
