Chairman of the Board of Nef Erden Timur and President of Mastertürk Group Gokhan Tash said that the Republic of Turkey now ranks first in Europe in housing sales; the volume of sales of residential real estate for December 2022 is impressive.
Erden Timur, referring to the statistics obtained at the end of the year, explained that in Turkey, which over the past four years has approached 1.5 million in terms of annual transactions, 1.485 million residences were sold in 2022. So, in terms of sales, the country again took the lead in Europe, where the volume of transactions decreased by 10-30%, depending on the state.
And as an investment tool, real estate continues to bring the most income in Turkey, he stressed. As well as the fact that it is necessary to accelerate the «delivery» of new housing to the market – that is, its production. Namely, new projects – complexes and entire neighborhoods.
