According to officially announced data, Turkish construction firms carried out projects worth about $10 billion ($9.836 billion) in the incomplete year 2022 – from January to November; so, since the last calculations, the amount has already increased, from $8.69 billion. Also, the Anadolu agency clarifies with reference to statistics from the Ministry of Commerce, from 1972 to the end of November 2022, the contracting industry has implemented 11,405 projects in more than 130 states.
The average cost of the project implemented this year has reached $38.125 million.
In the territorial distribution of projects, the largest share is from the Russian Federation (20.6%, or $95.624 billion). Russia is followed by Turkmenistan with a share of 10.8% (more than $50 billion) and Iraq (6.9%, and $32.124 billion). These are indicators taken together for half a century, during which statistics are collected. After the "three leaders" are Libya, Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia.
