Over the past half century - 50 years - Turkish developers have successfully completed development projects totaling $95.6 billion on the territory of the Russian Federation. This is the fifth part - or rather, 20.6% - of all contracts of this kind carried out by Turkish specialists outside their homeland, the Anadolu news agency clarifies.
The second largest country is Turkmenistan, where 10.8% has been built, totaling more than $50 billion. In third place is Iraq, whose citizens, by the way, consistently buy a lot of residential real estate in Turkey.
In total, over the past half century - from 1972 to 2022, according to data at the end of November (this information was provided by the Ministry of Commerce) - Turkish developers have implemented projects abroad for a total of almost $500 billion: $463.3 billion. A total of 11,405 projects, in 132 states.
