The Turkish Institute of Statistics TÜIK announced another record recorded by the end of summer: the construction cost index increased by 6.46% compared to the previous month and by 114.74% compared to the same month of the previous year.
According to the rating published before (by the end of July 2022, compared to July 2021), the construction cost index then increased by 106.9%.
Developers have repeatedly protested against price increases. In particular, cement. Considerable difficulties have been created for several years by the rapidly rising price of iron (fittings). So the prices of finished products rise accordingly; even for such budget options as factory-assembled houses.
