Sales of Turkish construction companies increased five times in ten years

The gross sales of Turkish real estate companies from 2010 to 2019 increased almost fivefold: to 473.6 billion TL. This information was published by the real estate newspaper Emlak Kulisi with reference to the Anadolu news agency. According to Anadolu, the total gross sales of companies in 2010 amounted to 96.3 billion TL, in 2015 - 215 billion TL, and in 2019 this figure reached 473.6 billion TL. Domestic gross sales of Turkish contractors increased from 89.5 billion lira to 43.8 billion lira over ten years while foreign sales - from 4.9 billion TL to 31.5 billion TL. The other income, which includes the profit below the point of gross sales in the income statement increased from 1.8 billion TL to 10.3 billion TL in ten years. According to this data, the gross sales of Turkish developers have grown by about five times in ten years.
What happened to the assets of Turkish construction companies within these ten years? According to the published stats, they have grown by 227.8 percent in ten years: from 379.5 billion TL to 1 trillion 244 billion TL. Equity capital of companies increased by 243.1 percent: from 71.9 billion TL to 246.8 billion TL.
