Interest in Turkey among our compatriots has increased since February last year, not only in terms of temporary or permanent relocation to the warm sea, but also in terms of acquiring their own business in this country. By establishing their «new life» in Turkey, Russians have also become more active in business terms: the number of companies they have opened in Turkey has increased by 682% compared to 2021, writes Karar columnist Ali Yildirim, referring to TOBB statistics.
As a result, our compatriots established 1,384 enterprises of one kind or another on the territory of Turkey in 2022: compared to 177 companies in 2021, this is about five times more.
After the citizens of the Russian Federation, the citizens of Iran (1,292) and Germany (509) created the most companies over the past year. Well, Ukraine demonstrates the greatest dynamics in this sense of all countries, apart from Russia: over the same period, the number of companies created by Ukrainian citizens in Turkey increased by 159%: from 91 to 236.
Earlier, the results of the updated rating of the most liveable cities in Turkey became known. Istanbul takes the first place.
Also last year, the Republic of Turkey was the leader among 56 states in terms of the growth rate of rental rates for housing.
