Uncultivated land can be leased

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has delivered positive news to individuals who have inherited land plots but are unwilling, unsure, or unprepared to cultivate them, and do not wish to sell them. This kind of property is allowed to be rented out.

Lands, fields and vineyards that were inherited but remained uncultivated for more than two years can be leased to persons interested in cultivating them. This option will be available through the website with an electronic offer. Therefore, tenants who are agricultural specialists have the chance to make money, while new landowners benefit from receiving income, resulting in both parties being content.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry is committed to preventing many hectares of land in Turkey from being empty by maximizing their agricultural potential.

It became known earlier that the demand for fields and land has increased significantly.
