More than a hundred new dormitories will open in the near future

Although the «rental housing crisis» has affected Turkish students and applicants directly, nevertheless, Turkey still remains among the leaders in Europe in terms of the number of institutions intended for student accommodation (student dormitories).

According to local media, there are more such institutions on the territory of the Republic of Turkey than in several European countries combined: Spain, France, Germany, the Netherlands.

That is, the percentage of students who have the opportunity to use dormitories in Turkey is higher than in other countries. At the moment, at least 0.85 million students are provided with places in such institutions.

Moreover, dormitories continue to be built: for example, by this September, a new modern women's dormitory for students living in remote areas has opened in Alanya. And the other day, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the imminent opening of another 105 similar establishments throughout Turkey.
