5,500 residences will be built by TOKI as part of 10 new projects

The Office of Mass Housing Construction (TOKI) announced the imminent launch of ten of its new projects in Istanbul, for a total of five and a half thousand residences (to be precise - 5497 lots).

 

Tenders for all ten projects will be held in May 2023. Modern residential complexes will appear in Gaziosmanpasha, Maltepe, Arnavutkey, Tuzla and Chatalja districts.

 

The first project, the contractor for which will be determined before anyone else, in Gaziosmanpash, involves the construction of a complex for 431 lots as part of a nationwide urban transformation project; a mosque is also planned in the infrastructure of the project.

 

The second - 577 residences in Maltepe; the third - 665, again in Gaziosmanpash; the fourth - 603 lots, again in Maltepe. Like the fifth, at 382 residences.

 

The sixth complex will appear in Arnavutkei, Baklaly quarter, where a residential complex for 621 apartments is planned. The seventh is in Tuzla, in the Aydinli quarter, similar in volume: 622 lots.

 

The eighth is also in Tuzla, in the Orhanli quarter (381 housing units); the ninth is nearby, also in Tuzla/Orhanli, with 577 apartments plus 20 shops and one mosque.

 

Tenders will be held on different dates, from May 5 to May 29, 2023.

 

Housing in Istanbul remains extremely in demand; and prices for it are growing rapidly. So, recently it became known that some Istanbul apartments are more expensive than detached houses in the United States.
