A campaign has been launched to provide one hundred thousand residences to middle-income families who cannot afford to buy housing at current prices. Emlakkulisi writes about this with reference to the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum.
100,000 preferential apartments for the «middle class» will be built in 81 provinces. Families will be able to buy these lots at low interest rates as part of long-term housing loans; the format of interaction with banks, as well as the amount of interest, is still being specified. It is only known that «...the state will cover a significant part of the interest payments on these loans», Murat Kurum explained.
A little later, the details of the social project are expected to be published – what, where, when, on what conditions, which banks can apply for a loan, subject to the approval of the application, etc.
Of the other options for getting a «roof over your head» in the most budget format, we will mention the purchase of a factory house: taking into account the state support program, such houses, if they have their own land plot, can cost individual lucky people only a couple of tens of thousands of liras.
