The famous shopping center — Taurus AVM — located in one of the central districts of the Turkish capital, Çankaya — is one of the most popular in Ankara. So, the news agenda was shaken by the information that it is being put up for sale for TL 2.482 billion. The auction will take place on May 29, 2024, and the mall will go under the hammer for debts. According to the information, the debtor is Taurus Balgat Alisveris Merkezi Yatırım AŞ.
Taurus AVM has 140 stores, both local and international brands. It opened more than 10 years ago. It was a partnership project between a Turkish organization and the American company Taurus Investment. The shopping centre is built on a plot of 26 hectares.
