İzmir Office of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change announced the upcoming sale of 50 residences in İzmir Province. Their value starts at only 580,000 Turkish Liras (TL), although they are located in upscale districts, such as Karşıyaka, Karabağlar, Aliağa, and Konak. The highest starting price is half a million (TL 1.49 million).
Homes in İzmir will be auctioned off on August 9, 2022.
The lucky new owners can pay for their new homes in installments over two years (24 months). Residences will be exempt from the real estate tax for five years.
İzmir is now taking measures to make sure more local residents are capable of purchasing homes at moderate prices. The city was recently devastated by an earthquake, many buildings were severely damaged and subsequently demolished, and residents are gradually being provided with new homes.
A new resort has opened near İzmir. Meanwhile, branded villas by a famous Swiss hotel brand are sold in Çeşme, an already popular resort town nearby.
