The western districts of Istanbul are becoming more accessible

Istanbul Municipality continues to invest in the transport system of the metropolis. So, there was news about the new railway «branch» of Sefakey-Beylikdyuzu-Tyyap.

The long-awaited metro line will cost the state more than $9 billion. It will pass through the districts of Kyuchukchekmedje, Avcylar, Esenyurt, Beylikduzu and Byukchekmedje; 10 stations are planned on the line.

Presumably, the branch line will be able to serve an additional 3.5 million people who now live in the west of Istanbul and do not have rail connections with other areas of the city: only buses, taxis, etc.

The length of the Sefakei-Beylikduzu-Tyyap section will be 17.89 km. The planned stations on it are: Sefakey, Janet, Kuchukchekmedje, Reshitpasha, Avdzhylar Merkez, Jihangir, Saadetdere, Beylikduzu, Yildirim Beyazyt and Tyyap.

Besides, the opening of the Bakyrkey-Kirazly branch line is expected in the foreseeable future. Well, by the first of September, the number of receiving passengers of the Istanbul metro stations will be replenished with three more.
