Wyndham plans to open 39 more hotels in Turkey

The Wyndham Hotels&Resorts international hotel chain has announced that it is going to expand in the Turkish market bringing the number of hotels under their own brands to 150 by the end of 2025. So, in addition to 111 hotels, another 39 are expected to open in the country.

The portfolio of Wyndham Hotels& Resorts includes 9,200 hotels in 95 countries. The hotel chain sees great potential in Turkey, as Dimitris Manikis, president of Wyndham Hotels& Resorts for Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA), explained that "... there are 5 unbranded properties for every branded hotel in Turkey."

There are hotels in Turkey under 10 brands of this chain out of 24. The Vienna House by Wyndham and Dolce by Wyndham brands will appear here in 2024.

As the company hinted, the key areas are Bodrum and Antalya.

As you know, Foreign investors can also purchase properties such as serviced apartments as "private rooms" in some of the country's hotel complexes, which are then rented out as hotel rooms. However, such real estate does not belong to the category of those that give the right to obtain citizenship, but it makes a good profit, given the popularity of Turkey as a tourist destination. It is not for nothing that huge hotels are being built in the country, including complexes of a combined format, such as housing and hotel rooms for short-term rentals.

In addition, such properties will be much easier to resell than resort timeshare options.
