Ferry and funicular routes have been added in Istanbul

The transport infrastructure of the largest Turkish metropolis continues to develop on all «fronts». Last weekend - October 28, 2022 - two new ferry routes were opened at once: one - Ashiyan-AnadoluHisary-Kyuchuksu, and the second - Ashiyan-Uskyudar.

The «lines» of funiculars have also been added; the new line also starts from Ashian. Also, on October 28, the first passengers were received by the funicular line F4 (Rumeli Hisary Ust-Ashiyan). Which is especially convenient: after all, funiculars «help» to overcome routes with a large angle of inclination. So, now guests and residents of the city will not have to spend a lot of time to climb up: the way to the hill will now take a little more than two minutes.

Recall that there is a maximum of two months left before the opening of the metro station at the New Istanbul Airport: this line is planned to be put into operation in December.

Among other significant news of a transport nature, it is worth mentioning the imminent appearance of three more airports in Turkey.
