As it was stated previously, Istanbul will soon have a new architectural symbol - the futuristic Çamlıca TV tower. These days, construction and finishing work is being completed in the building, the height of which is 369 meters, the opening of the tower is planned for the end of 2020. The main goal of this new project in Istanbul is the unification of several key TV towers under one roof of a state-of-the-art telecommunications center. In addition to its direct purpose, the Çamlıca Tower will serve as a new public space. On several floors of the tower, observation decks are being prepared for opening, from which tourists will be able to enjoy the breathtaking views of Istanbul. The tower will also house two stylish restaurants, a concert and exhibition hall, and gift shops. The volume of investments in the construction of the project in Istanbul amounted to 368 million lira. Çamlıca is designed in such a way as to be stable during earthquakes and heavy winds. In the next 30 years, the tower will be used for its intended purpose, and then it can be used as a vertical unmanned aviation base, the creators of the project believe.
