In 2019, expats from Iran were in the second place (9,778 people) and Germans occupied the third place (9,224 people). The TOP-10 foreign residents moving to Turkey for permanent residence also include Kazakhstanis, Kyrgyz, Ukrainians, Azerbaijanis and Iraqis.
