One of the largest cities in Antalya province, the resort city of Alanya has partially solved the problem of accommodating university students. From August 15 to 22, the distribution of places for female students living in remote areas from the center is underway in the Oba women's dormitory.
The hostel is designed for 120 beds. It is managed by the Department of Social Services of the Municipality of Alanya.
The portal of the Alanian news clarifies that the hostel will take care not only of a roof over the girls' heads, but also of their other needs: safety, health, nutrition.
The infrastructure of the hostel provides a computer class, sports facilities. Several rooms are specially equipped for students with disabilities.
Recall that the discussion of the issue of «separation» of Alanya continues, with its transformation into a separate province from Antalya: the city has already grown too large to be part of another territorial division. In the format of an independent province, it will be easier for the municipality to solve social, infrastructural and similar issues. Although new roads are already being massively laid here, the number of parks and squares is growing.
