Turkish authorities are working on the new Real Estate Law that will regulate the most common problems real estate agencies and consultants experience in Turkey.
Hakan Akçam, President of the Etimesgut Real Estate Consultants Association (Ankara): “Our initiatives have led to the launching of research in Ankara on the main problems real estate agencies experience in Turkey which require legal regulation. The expert group will have to determine what realtors expect from the new law, what should be done and taken into account in the law. Recently, we have constantly been experiencing problems caused by the fact that real estate consultants in Turkey are not sufficiently protected by law. And the new law will allow not only to protect our colleagues, but also to regulate the market taking into account the requirements of professionals."
