The Department of Mass Housing Construction TÜIK, publishing detailed statistics on large cities, published the volume of transactions in Bursa for January 2023.
Emlaksayfasi reports that 3,559 lots were sold in the fourth largest metropolis of Turkey in January. This is 3.6% of the total volume of transactions in the country.
In the ranking of cities where the most residential real estate was sold in January, Bursa was in fifth place, after Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Antalya.
The number of transactions concluded with the involvement of mortgage lending is not so large: only 639. The bulk of January buyers still preferred not to resort to housing loans: this is 2,920 transactions.
1,092 residences sold this month in Bursa are new buildings; 2,467 belong to the secondary real estate segment. Foreigners have purchased 140 housing units in this metropolis.
