The Russian airline «Pobeda» is presumably resuming regular flights to Turkey from December. In particular, an application has already been sent to the Federal Air Transport Agency for the start of daily flights to Antalya from December 23. So, for Russians living in Turkey or often traveling there, Pobeda presented a pleasant gift for the New Year.
Perhaps «Pobeda» will also fly to Istanbul, but these data have not yet been confirmed: «Aeroflot» clarifies that «... no decision has been made yet».
Anyway, the opportunities to get to Turkish resorts and not only are steadily expanding after the pandemic period of «aviation dry ration». Not only at the expense of the airline «Aeroflot» and its «daughter» - «Pobeda»: last summer there was quite a lot of news about this. In particular, Aeroflot set a large-scale flight program, significantly simplifying transportation to the Aegean coast for Russians: flights were in high demand. Turkey, for its part, announced the creation of an airline specifically for the transportation of Russian citizens - Southwind, in addition to the previously announced appearance of Air Anka.
Well, flights of Russian airlines to Turkey from August 30, 2022 have become shorter by about half an hour.
