The Municipality of Alanya continues to actively work to put the city in order for the new summer season, including investing in the improvement of social and transport infrastructure. "By the summer season, we will finish a project that will change the face of our region," said the Mayor of Alanya, Adem Murat Yudzhel.
We are talking about a recreation area covering the districts of Turkler, Payallar and Konakli, with a 4.5-kilometer coastline. On a huge area of 58 thousand square meters, many zones for active pastime are organized: a multi-kilometer bicycle path along the coast, places for recreation and picnics, a pedestrian zone, children's playgrounds, cafeterias, volleyball and basketball courts and much more.
The "center of attraction" will be a two-lane bicycle zone with a length of more than 4 km. In 20 "points" there are special places for parking bicycles, which can accommodate up to a hundred such vehicles.
Also, a parking lot for 105 cars will be placed on the adjacent territory.
Adem Murat Yudzhel stated that the main goal of such gigantic projects implemented in Alanya is to increase the area of "green" zones and protect the natural balance by popularizing the use of bicycles.
"We have launched a megaproject in Turkler, Payallar and Konakli so that our citizens can easily, comfortably and comfortably use it, while at the same time protecting the Alanian beaches and ensuring their maximum effective use. I hope we will present the finished project to the public in early summer, as promised", the mayor said.
Earlier we wrote that a broadband highway will connect Alanya with Antalya; also, Alanya will be made more earthquake-resistant.
