The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change has begun working on the issue of reducing the aidat - monthly maintenance fees for apartments and houses. So far, it has been announced that the amount of these fees will be reduced by 18%.
Management companies and private managers who overestimate the cost of work on such services will be removed from their duties if their "malicious actions" can be proved. Also, the media explain with reference to the agency, in the future, all companies that manage the cite will be required to officially register in the relevant register and confirm their professional qualifications - as builders, realtors, etc.
By the way, mandatory services are also being introduced: for example, in complexes with 300 or more apartments, for example, a management company will be obliged to organize private security.
With all these innovations, residents will at least be able to count on better service, and "a significant part of the misunderstandings between owners and management companies will be resolved."
It is clear that it is unlikely that all controversial issues will be resolved at the same time, as well as to reduce the IDAT to the level that suits the owners of apartments and houses - after all, the size of the aidat has also increased very much recently, and in some places, it is already considered prohibitive.
But I am glad that the authorities are taking significant steps in this direction - in the sense of respecting the interests of the owners of residential real estate.
Earlier, lawyers have already clarified which services within the complex should be paid attention to by homeowners in order to protect their rights and get the necessary services - what they actually pay for by making the aidat.
