Sales for three quarters on average rose by 11%

The September report on residential real estate sales in Turkey showed that the volume of transactions on average increased by 11.4% in the first nine months of 2022, compared to the same period of 2021: from 949,138 to 1,057,193 real estate units. However, the figures differ for different categories of transactions, such as:

- purchases involving mortgage loans – 229,601 versus 181,855 a year earlier (+25.7% for three quarters of the year);

- other transactions (without resorting to mortgage loans) – 828,592 vs. 767,283 (+8.0%);

- sales of new real estate (lots in newly built or under construction houses) – 312,118 vs. 287,156 (+8.7%);

- sales of secondary real estate - 745,075 vs. 661,982 (+12.6%).

The average figure is just 11% with a little. But the most noticeable increase is in the category of mortgage transactions: immediately a quarter more.

Recall that in the first three quarters in Turkey, almost 2.5 million units of real estate were sold, including commercial, office, fields, land for industrial enterprises, etc.

Construction «Turkish-made products» are also in demand in other countries: in January-September, developers of the Republic of Turkey implemented projects worth $87 billion abroad.
