IN JUNE, AROUND 3,000 HOUSING UNITS WERE BOUGHT IN BURSA

Here, we present detailed statistics of transactions for June 2023 in Bursa, Turkey's fourth largest metropolitan area.

In June, 2,990 residences found their owners here; so in the first summer month, Bursa accounted for 3.6% of the housing transactions of the country's total. In this sense, Bursa was in the fifth place throughout Turkey: the first place was Istanbul, the second – the capital of the Republic of Turkey, Ankara, the third – Izmir, the fourth – Antalya, the "resort capital".

People bought 550 housing units with the help of mortgages; without bank loans – 2,440 lots.

903 transactions were among new buildings, 2,087 – for the "secondary" sector.

To put it bluntly, investors from foreign countries do not ignore Bursa; and although there are not many deals, as for example as in Istanbul or Alanya, they are still there, and dozens every month. There were 72 transactions in July.
