Turkish hotels will be required to have "earthquake resistance certificates"

The representative of the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) insists that the Ministry of Culture and Tourism should be puzzled by providing hotels and other HoReCa enterprises (restaurants, catering, etc.) with confirmations that the buildings in which these objects are located are earthquake-resistant.  Since the guests coming from abroad - travelers and businessmen - in the context of the situation began to be actively interested in this.

Tour operators are also likely to want reports on how safe hotels are in case of possible aftershocks, Hurriyet reports.

Such a document will probably be created in the image and likeness of the "Safe Tourism Certificate" that was in effect during the pandemic.

Recall that recently three Turkish hotels were included in the TOP-10 best accommodation facilities on the whole planet. In Istanbul, fashionable hotels continue to open one after another; one of them is The Peninsula Istanbul with its "own" time zone.
