The Beylerbey mansion was rented for 0.6 million for the filming of the series

The famous Istanbul mansion Beylerbey (Beylerbeyi Sakıp Sabancı) was rented for 600,000 Turkish lira (TL). We did it specifically for the filming of a new Turkish TV series on the territory of the building.

This will be Star TV's first project under a special agreement with OGM Pictures; the filmmakers were attracted by the traditional Ottoman architecture of the mansion. The building with historical heritage was once restored and renovated, recently it was the residence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sabancı Holding Sakip Sabancı.

A lot is expected from this series; a strong cast has been selected, Burju Alptekin will be the director, Tolga Cetin will be the cameraman. The series will star, in particular, the famous Turkish singer Emre Altug; other actors include Cetin Tekindor, Mert Ramazan Demir, Beril Pozam, Gulchin Santirjioglu, Jansu Firinci, Oznur Sercheler and others.

Earlier we wrote that a house in Cesme was rented for Meryem Uzerli for filming, but not for the filming itself, but for the performer of the main role in the «Magnificent Century» to live there while working on the project.
