Artaş İnşaat is developing a brand-new huge complex, Avrupa Konutları Güneşli, in Istanbul's Bağcılar district. The project will consist of 1,312 residential units and 32 stores, with an estimated cost of over 3.5 billion Turkish liras (3,555,729,286 TL). The developer has already submitted an application to the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization and Climate Change for an environmental impact assessment, which is necessary for the project to proceed.
Avrupa Konutları Güneşli will have a total of 11 blocks, with four different types of residences. There will be 216 1+1 apartments, 539 2+1 apartments, 375 3+1 apartments, and 182 4+1 apartments.
One interesting aspect of the project is that the construction site will have its own concrete plant, capable of producing 180 m3 per hour.
As for infrastructure, the complex will also have a range of social facilities and public zones, including an indoor swimming pool, children's pool, cafe-restaurant, sauna, hammam, fitness center, playground, and recreation areas. Of course, there will be changing rooms, restrooms, showers, and technical rooms. The landscape design will feature artificial ponds.
The construction work is expected to take 624 days. The complex is conveniently located near a high school, a local hospital, literally 200-300 meters. The TEM highway is 2.6 km away, the airport – 25 km, Lake Küçükçekmece – 6 km, , and the Sazlidere Dam – 11 km.
In addition to Avrupa Konutları Güneşli, there have been several other new project announcements in Istanbul, Turkey's largest metropolis:
